I have been coming to Flor Del Mayo for over years, first dining at the Broadway location. My usual order is one of the lunch specials: half a Pollo a la Brasa with yellow rice and a side of chicken soup. The Pollo a la Brasa is consistently moist and well-seasoned. I usually do not order chicken when I dine out, but I do at Flor Del Mayo. This is also the restaurant that created the cocktail The Nutcracker: Don Q , Southern Comfort, Disaronno. It is so potent that I can only have several sips. I also like their fruit punch but with half the amount of grenadine, or else it is too sweet.I plan to try other things on the menu, like their Lomo Saltados.

They told me I had to wait minutes for a table and I waited only like minutes and even if I had wait minutes. I would because this food is amazing. I had the lomo saltado and wow was it amazing. The sangria was amazing as well. It was a house made one so I had to try it and it was great. My girlfriend had the chicken soup which was very filling and very good. The tostones were very soft and fluffy which was different from other places but still amazing. Place was very clean. The waiter was super personable and friendly. I would definitely come back again. I like how it was also a mix of both Peruvian food and Chinese food.
